Volunteers are needed!
The Trees are coming, the trees are coming----that is 25 shade trees for Emerson Heights. EHCO will have its First Annual Tree Planting on Saturday, October 29, 2005.
Meet at 9th and Bancroft at 8:00 AM
By Saturday, the planting holes will have been dug, and the trees placed next to them Bring shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves, and the kids
We will place the trees in the holes, back fill and apply mulch to the top of the soil
The tree planting will be followed by a WRAP-IT UP luncheon between 11 and 1
at Wallace Street Presbyterian Church (Wallace and 10th Street)
The trees have been provided through a grant from Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and its partners. If you are not able to assist with the tree planting,
we also need help with the luncheon (money, food prep, serving, clean up).
