Irvington Community Elementary School (ICS) is a charter school sponsored by Ball State University. It is located about 2.3 miles Southeast of Emerson Heights, a block South of Washington Street and Kitley at 6705 East Julian Ave, Indianapolis.

They are an elementary (K-8) school that seeks academic excellence through a challenging and rich curriculum including art, music and spanish. The Irvington Community High School will be accepting 9th grade students starting in fall of 2006.

ICS is on a year-round schedule with extended school days. It is a public school; there is no tuition and it is open to all students.
